With the study of dance and cheer leading a constant during her formative years, Terri ended up as one of the San Francisco 49ers Football Cheerleading Squad.
Hatcher honed her early acting desires by studying at the prestigious American Conservatory Theater in San Francisco. One of her professors was Anne Benning. One a trip in 1985 down to Los Angeles in support of one of her classmates for an audition, Hatcher got the part. Hopefully, the friends have made up since then.

While she has credits for a number of smaller roles, her notoriety in the industry took hold with her portrayal of Lois Lane in the television series Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman. Computer geeks loved her.
Hatcher has appeared on Seinfield as a guest who Elaine attempts to find out whether her breasts have been augmented or not. She has hosted Saturday Night Live and is considered one of the shows greatest fans. Her current work on Desperate Housewives may be coming to an end – considering the age of all the stars – but her run in Hollywood is far from over.
