A Shia LaBeouf NSA statement back in 2008 comes as a shocker, Shia LaBeouf NSA: Recent revelations that have came to light about the NSA spying on Americans has many people appalled and outraged.

However, if we would have paid attention to a Shia LaBeouf NSA statement he gave during an interview with Jay Leno on The Tonight Show back in 2008, perhaps the NSA spying would not have been such a shocker.

On June 10 The Atlantic Wire via Yahoo! News explained that during an appearance on The Tonight Show to promote his role in 2008's Eagle Eye, LaBeouf revealed that he was spied on by the NSA.

LaBeouf explained how an "FBI consultant" told him that "one in five phone calls which you make are recorded, and logged." At first LaBeouf doubted the consultant's claims until he was shown undeniable proof.

According to LaBeouf, to prove he wasn't lying, the consultant played a phone call conversation that LaBeouf had made two years prior to joining the cast of the film.
