Jennifer lopez top secret meeting, On Friday, Jennifer Lopez had a private one on one meeting with “American Idol” host Ryan Seacrest, adding fuel to the fire that she is returning to the show next season.While the meeting was supposed to be top-secret, Radar Online blew their cover when they reported the two met up at an office building in Beverly Hills.
“J.Lo was driven there by her regular driver. Ryan arrived simultaneously, and didn’t look happy to have been spotted,” a source told Radar.
As of now, both Lopez and Seacrest are staying mum on what they talked about during their meet up.
Last week, a report that Lopez wanted to return to the talent competition show was debunked by a close friend of the star. But rumors resurfaced when JLo and Seacrest had the alleged secret meeting.
News of Lopez’s possible return to “Idol” began toward the end of this season when The Hollywood Reporter released the “bombshell scoop” that the show’s producers were so concerned with plunging ratings that they devised a plot to get JLO back.
However, a Fox spokesman said the report was “just another ridiculous 'Idol' judge rumor, likely started by talks of Jennifer performing on the finale."
Since Lopez’s departure from the show, "Idol” has been struggling with ratings.
While they have been on a decline for the past few seasons, last week’s ratings showed that “Idol” was losing momentum to rival singing competition show “The Voice.”
